Fighting Holiday Depression with Cinergy Health

While many people find the holidays to be a wonderful time, others find it quite stressful.  Many people get overwhelmed by feelings of loneliness, over-booked scheduled, financial stress and more.  Cinergy Health, with its CEO Daniel Touizer, aims to help you to alleviate some of that holiday stress.

Medical director of Cinergy Health, Dr. Margaret Lewin, offers these quick and practical suggestions to help with holiday stress.  Make sure to stick to your usual exercise routine to get your endorphins up.  Take the stairs whenever possible and park further away from your destination to give your body some extra exercise.  If you’re working over the holidays, get up from your desk more often to stretch and get some water.

Finally, one really important suggestion from Cinergy Health is to take at least 20 minutes each day for a nurturing activity.  This activity could be a warm bath, a long walk, a pedicure and more.
